Interview email templates
Short, copy-ready emails for the moments that need one. Fill in your case number and name once, and every template updates. Keep them short: one purpose per email, case number in the subject line.
Confirm a rescheduled interview
Reply to the email the Immigrant Visa Unit sent you, straight away. Replying keeps the thread and the address they used. Do not move the date in AIS: you can only reschedule later.

Confirm a re-interview, and ask about the medical
For a case called back after a 221(g). Medical results are valid for 6 months, and you must enter the US within those 6 months. If your medical is older than that, or close to it, ask in the same email. Check your dates first.

Dear Immigrant Visa Unit,

Tell the unit about a CEAC upload
Upload first, email second. The upload puts the document in your case; the email makes sure someone knows to look. Send to LNDIVSubmissions@state.gov.

Send the public charge statement
At least five working days before the interview. The statement itself comes from the statement builder, which produces this email with the text filled in.

Send exactly what is ticked, all in one go, the way the embassy's follow-up email instructs. Use this email only if the instructions ask you to email the documents or a cover note; otherwise follow the route they give. Check what each ticked box needs.
