Night before — pack these
  • Passport
  • Interview letter
  • DS-260 confirmation page Printed — not on phone
  • Completed medical questionnaire (IV18a)
  • Vaccination records
  • ACRO police certificate
  • GP summary Dated within 2–3 weeks of appointment
  • Glasses or contact lenses (if applicable)
  • Payment method (card preferred)
If applicable:
  • Medical reports (chronic conditions, mental health, TB/STIs)
  • Child health record / Red Book
  • Maternity documentation (if pregnant)
At the medical
  • Check-in and digital photo
  • Document review
  • Chest X-ray (age 15+)
  • Blood test (age 18+)
  • Urine test (age 18+)
  • Physical examination
  • Vaccine review and administration
Before leaving the clinic:
  • Collect pink checklist slip — required for embassy document check
Same day — embassy document check
Go directly to the embassy after the medical. Do not go home first.

Window: 11:30 AM–1:00 PM (queue opens ~11:45)

  • DS-260 confirmation page
  • Civil documents (originals)
At the embassy:
  • Go to "Pass Back" window on the right side of the building — do NOT join the main queue
  • Airport-style security
  • Document check at window
  • Fingerprints
  • Receive sealed "Do Not Tamper" envelope for interview day
High-risk failure points
  • Missing GP summary
  • Missing vaccination records
  • Forgetting pink slip before leaving clinic
  • Not going to embassy same day
  • Arriving after 1:00 PM and missing the doc check window
Timing: Medical ~1–1.5 hrs · Coffee break · Embassy doc check opens 11:45 AM · Done by ~12:15 PM

Bottom line — all three must be done
