Medical Day Checklist

Your medical and document check both happen on the same day.

🚨 Critical: You must attend the US Embassy for document check on the same day as your medical examination. Do not book them on separate days. The embassy doc check window is 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM — go even if you are running late.

1. Night before

Passport (original, not copy)

Interview letter (printed from email)

DS-260 confirmation (printed from CEAC)

IV18a questionnaire (printed)

Vaccination records (original booklet)

ACRO police certificate (original)

GP summary (if requested or helpful)

Glasses or contact lenses (if worn)

Printed documents (NOT on phone), originals plus copies

2. Morning of medical

Arrive early (allow 1 to 1.5 hours for medical)

Bring debit/credit card (preferred payment method)

3. At the medical clinic (VisaMedicals)

4. Before leaving medical

Receive pink checklist slip (REQUIRED for embassy)

5. Same day: Embassy document check

Window: 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM at US Embassy, 33 Nine Elms Lane, London SW11 7US

Bring passport, pink slip, DS-260, civil documents

Go to Pass Back window (skip main visa queue)

Receive sealed interview packet

Bottom line: If you complete medical, receive pink slip, AND complete embassy document check on the same day, you are fully cleared for interview.
